Introduction
When unable to travel as originally planned, customers may need to refund their already issued flight tickets.
You can handle the refund operation to meet the changing travel needs of customers.
Provides online processes for two scenarios: refund fees cannot be calculated and refund fees can be calculated.
Functions include refund inquiry, refund application, refund details inquiry, refund confirmation, and refund cancellation.
1. Refund Inquiry
Inquires whether a flight ticket order can be refunded.
The interface automatically returns whether a refund is possible and provides multiple refundable types and their corresponding refund fee calculation results.
2. Refund Application
Third parties can apply for a refund through the interface, providing the order number, flight information, and other necessary details.
3. Refund Details
Retrieves detailed information about a refund order using the order number, synchronizing refund data.
4. Refund Fee Confirmation
When the refund fee policy is unclear during the refund application, Trip.com agents will provide a quote manually.
User can review the quote and confirm to continue with cancellation process.
5. Refund Cancellation
Customers can apply to cancel their refund application.
